Closing a Chapter

There comes a point in life where we need to respect ourselves enough to move on. The memories left behind will always be there and I can take a peek back into my mind if I choose but for now, I must close a chapter in my life.

I have been in yet another transitional period of mental, spiritual, and emotional growth for much of this year. It’s a lot to have on my plate during a world-wide pandemic but there was a knock at the door that I just could not ignore. I finally opened it. I am freeing up space that no longer benefits me in this season of my life.

There is something powerful in the discovery of self and feeling content with a decision. A chapter has been closed and a new one is being written.
